Kanox 50mg/ml Injection (10ml Vial) contains the active ingredient ketamine hydrochloride. Each mL of the solution contains 50 mg of ketamine hydrochloride.
Indications:
Kanox is used for the treatment of:
Anaesthesia: As the sole anaesthetic agent for diagnostic and surgical procedures that do not require skeletal muscle relaxation. It is best suited for short procedures but can be used with additional doses for longer procedures.
Induction of Anaesthesia: Prior to the administration of other general anaesthetic agents.
Supplementation of Low Potency Agents: Such as nitrous oxide.
Obstetrics: For vaginal delivery or caesarean section. Maternal side effects of awareness and dreaming can be reduced by the injection of diazepam or related drugs after the birth of the infant.
Instructions:

Administration:
For intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection.
