Losartan K Film Coated Tablet 50mg contains the active ingredient losartan potassium. Each tablet contains 50 mg of losartan potassium.
Indications:
Losartan is used for the treatment of:
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Helps to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events, such as stroke.
Diabetic Nephropathy: Protects the kidneys in hypertensive type 2 diabetic patients with proteinuria (a condition where urine contains an abnormal amount of protein).
Instructions:
Dosage: The usual dose for most patients with high blood pressure is 50 mg taken once a day. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your condition and response to treatment.
Administration:
Take the tablet with a full glass of water.
It can be taken with or without food.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
