Monorail Crane

A monorail crane is a type of overhead material handling system that consists of a single rail (or beam) from which a hoist or trolley is suspended to move loads along a fixed path. Unlike an overhead travelling crane (which moves in two directions—along a bridge and runway), a monorail crane typically moves in one linear direction, though it can be designed with curves, switches, and branches for more complex routing.
