Les Tannes en Occitanie 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon

There's a medicinal cherry note upfront on the nose of this wine, with waves of black-currant liqueur, plum paste and tobacco earthiness underneath. The medium-weight palate shows astringent tannins that finish somewhat aggressively, while the fruit hides in the back of the palate, not offering enough support to the tough structure.
