Ascorbic acid is necessary for collagen formation and tissue repair in the body. It is also involved in metabolism of phenylalnine, tyrosine, folic acid and iron, utilization of carbohydrates, synthesis of lipids and protein, and preservation of blood vessel integrity.
Recommended dosage:
Adults: 1 to 2 tablets a day.
Children above 3 years: 1 tablets a day or as directed by the physician.
