Superficial ultrasound for Lumps and Bumps 

Tissues examined:

• Skin, adipose tissue, fascia and muscles.

Preparation:

• Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allow easy access to area of concern.

Aim:

• To determine nature of the lumps and bumps that might be painless or irritating. It can range from lipoma, wart, cyst or even rare malignant skin tumors. It is important to assess newly form swelling, lumps and bumps whenever it occurs. Early detection is the key to survival.
