Treatment of essential hypertension.
Instruction
Should be taken with food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Drug interaction
Risk of increased blood levels of lithium. Drugs for heart rhythm problems (eg quinidine, hydroquinidine, disopyramide, amiodarone, sotalol, ibutilide, dofetilide, digitalis), TCAs, antipsychotic drugs, neuroleptics, bepridil, cisapride, diphemanil, sparfloxacin, moxifloxacin, IV erythromycin, IV vincamine, halofantrine, pentamidine, mizolastine, NSAIDs or high doses of aspirin, ACE inhibitors, IV amphotericin B, oral corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, baclofen, K-sparing diuretics, metformin, iodinated contrast media, Ca tab or other Ca supplements, ciclosporin, tacrolimus or other drugs to depress immune system after organ transplantation, to treat autoimmune diseases, or severe rheumatic or dermatological diseases, tetracosactide.
