Pralatrexate

 

Indication

Treatment of relapse or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma.

 

Instruction

Peripheral T-cell lymphoma 30 mg/m2 administered as an IV push over 3-5 min once wkly for 6 wk in 7-wk cycle. Folic acid should be initiated during the 10-day period preceding the 1st dose & continue during the full course of therapy & for 30 days after the last dose. Vit B12 should also receive via IM no >10 wk prior to the 1st dose & every 8-10 wk thereafter.

 

Drug interaction

Delayed pralatrexate clearance w/ probenecid, NSAIDs, trimethoprim/sulfamethotrexate.
