Indication
Fast, soothing and long-lasting relief from heartburn and indigestion. It gets to work instantly in two different ways:

2) forming a protective raft over the stomach contents to keep reflux at bay and soothes burning sensation in your chest.
Gaviscon Double Action is suitable for use in pregnancy
Instruction
Adults and children over 12 years: 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime.
Children under 12 years: Should be given only on medical advice.
Drug interaction
A time-interval of 2 hours should be considered between Gaviscon intake and the administration of other medicinal products, especially tetracyclines, digoxine, fluoroquinolone, iron salt, ketoconazole, neuroleptics, thyroid hormones, penicillamine, beta-blockers (atenolol, metoprolol, propanolol), glucocorticoid, chloroquine, biphosphonates (diphosphonates) and estramustine
