Indication
Parenteral nutrition when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible, insufficient or contraindicated.
 
Instruction
Adult Individualized dosage. Range: 13-31 mL/kg body wt/day. Max dose: 35 mL/kg body wt/day. Administer via central IV infusion over 14-24 hr. Max infusion rate: 0.25 g/kg body wt/hr for glucose.
 
Drug interaction
Insulin, heparin.
