Indication
As a mucolytic.
 
Instruction
May be taken with or without food. Adult: As tab/solution: 8-16 mg tid.
Child: As tab/solution: 2-5 years 4 mg bid; 6-11 years 8 mg tid; ≥12 years Same as adult dose.
 
Drug interaction
Erythromycin, cephalexin, amoxycillin.
