Fluticasone propionate
Indication
Prophylaxis & treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis including hay fever; perennial rhinitis. Management of associated sinus pain & pressure.
Instruction
Adult & childn >12 yr 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. In some cases, 2 sprays into each nostril bd may be required. Max daily dose: 4 sprays into each nostril. Childn 4-11 yr 1 spray into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. In some cases 1 spray into each nostril bd may be required. Max daily dose: 2 sprays into each nostril.
Drug interaction
CYP450 3A4 (eg, ketoconazole).
