Per g Clindamycin 10 mg, benzoyl peroxide 50 mg
Indication
Mild to moderate acne vulgaris, particularly inflammatory lesions.
Instruction
Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr Apply once daily to affected area in the evening. Max duration: Not >12 wk of continuous use.
Drug interaction
Cumulative irritant effect w/ other topical antibiotics medicated or abrasive soaps & cleansers, soaps & cosmetics w/ strong drying effect & products w/ high alcohol &/or astringents conc. Possible antagonism w/ erythromycin-containing products. Enhanced action of other neuromuscular blocking agents. Reduced efficacy & increased irritation w/ tretinoin, isotretinoin & tazarotene. Temporarily change of skin & facial hair colour w/ topical sulfonamide-containing products.
