Active Ingredient: Ranitidine Hydrochloride (equivalent to 50 mg of Ranitidine per 2 ml)
Gastril Injection is indicated for:
Treatment of peptic ulcer disease (PUD), including duodenal and benign gastric ulcers
Management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Prophylaxis of gastrointestinal hemorrhage from stress ulceration
Prevention of acid aspiration during general anesthesia
Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory conditions
Dosage and Administration: Administer via intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection.
IV Injection: Dilute 2 ml of Gastril Injection with 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection to a total volume of 5–10 ml. Inject over a period of not less than 2 minutes.
IV Infusion: Dilute 2 ml of Gastril Injection with 100 ml of 5% dextrose or other compatible solution. Infuse over 15–30 minutes.
Dosage Adjustments: In patients with renal impairment, reduce the dose or extend the dosing interval to prevent accumulation.
Storage: Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
