Panobinostat
Indication
To treat multiple myeloma in people who have received at least two other treatments for their multiple myeloma. These include bortezomib and an immunomodulatory agent such as lenalidomide (Revlimid).
Instruction
May be taken with or without food.
Drug interaction
Some drugs may interact with Farydak which can increase/decrease the level of farydak in your body that may cause side effect. Certain medication which broken down by an enzyme called CYP2D6 can increase the level of drugs when taken with Farydak, such as metoprolol, nebivolol, cough medicine dextromethorphan and psychiatric drug like venlafaxine, desipramine. Ppotentially Fatal: drugs that can interact with your hearts electrical activity when taken with Farydak may lead to death such as Disopyramnide, Amiodarone, Procainamide, Quinidine, Clarithromycin, Moxifloxacin and Ondansteron.
Before you start to use Farydak, tell your doctor if you are taking any of these drugs. Your doctor may suggest different medications.
