Indication
Chronic granulocytic leukaemia. Prolongs remission in polycythaemia vera, particularly in cases w/ marked thrombocytosis. Selected cases of essential thrombocythaemia & myelofibrosis.
Drug interaction
Itraconazole, thioguanine, phenytoin, cyclophosphamide, cytotoxic agents that cause pulmonary toxicity.
