KHD was tasked with designing a confinement centre in Kuala Lumpur that offers a serene and welcoming environment for new mothers. The client requested a Taiwanese Muji-inspired style—emphasizing clean lines, neutral tones, and functional yet comfortable spaces. With a focus on simplicity and comfort, we incorporated natural materials and minimalist design elements to create a calm and nurturing atmosphere. The design balances aesthetics with practicality, ensuring it fits within the client’s budget while providing a tranquil space for recovery and care.
