Famodine Tablet 20mg contains famotidine, which is a histamine-2 (H2) receptor antagonist. It works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach1.
Indiations:
Famotidine is used to treat and prevent:

• Ulcers in the stomach and intestines
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where acid backs up from the stomach into the esophagus
• Conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

• Dosage: The usual dose for adults is 20 mg twice daily or 40 mg once daily, depending on the condition being treated. Always follow your doctor's instructions1.
• Administration: Take the tablet by mouth, with or without food. Swallow it whole with a glass of water1.
