Ciscord Injection 1mg/ml contains Cisplatin 1mg/ml. Cisplatin is a chemotherapeutic agent used to treat various types of cancer.
Indications:

• Metastatic Non-Seminomatous Germ Cell Carcinoma: Treatment of advanced stages of this type of testicular cancer.
• Advanced-Stage and Refractory Ovarian Carcinoma: Treatment of ovarian cancer that has not responded to other treatments.
• Advanced-Stage and Refractory Bladder Carcinoma: Treatment of bladder cancer that is advanced and not responding to other treatments.
• Refractory Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck: Treatment of head and neck cancer that is resistant to other treatments.

• Dosage: Typically, 50-100 mg/m² as a single IV dose every 3-4 weeks, or 15-20 mg/m² intravenously daily for 5 days every 3-4 weeks. Follow your doctor's prescription for exact dosage.
• Administration: Injected intravenously over a 6-8 hour period. Ensure proper dilution and administration technique as per medical guidelines.
• Precautions: Avoid if you are allergic to cisplatin or any component of the formulation. Use with caution if you have kidney problems, hearing impairment, or are pregnant. Avoid using aluminum-containing IV sets, needles, catheters, and syringes as they can interact with cisplatin.
• Monitoring: Regular follow-ups with your doctor are recommended to monitor progress and adjust dosage if necessary. Kidney function tests and hearing tests are important during treatment.
