Xylocaine Jelly 2% contains 2% lidocaine hydrochloride as the active ingredient. It is a sterile aqueous product that also contains hypromellose, methylparaben, propylparaben, and sodium hydroxide/hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH to 6.0–7.01.
Indications:
Xylocaine Jelly 2% is indicated for use as a local anesthetic and lubricant. It is commonly used for:

• Oral or nasal endotracheal intubation
• Urologic procedures requiring urethral surface anesthesia
• Skin irritations and pain relief

1. Application: Apply the jelly directly to the mucous membranes or skin where anesthesia is required.
2. Dosage: Use the amount prescribed by your healthcare provider.
3. Precautions: Avoid using on broken or damaged skin unless directed by a doctor. Do not use for prolonged periods or on large areas3.
4. Storage: Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
5. Disposal: Discard any unused portion after initial use.
