Indications:
Ethomid Tablets are primarily used for the treatment of tuberculosis (TB), especially in cases where the bacteria have developed resistance to other anti-tubercular medicines. It is often used in combination with other TB medications.
Instructions:
- Dosage: The dosage and duration of treatment should be strictly followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken with or without food, at the same time each day.
- Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, liver disease, or any other medical conditions. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medication.
- Side Effects: Common side effects include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, gastric irritation, and orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing). If you experience any severe side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
