Effexin Otic Solution 3 mg/ml contains ofloxacin 3 mg/ml, an antibiotic used to treat ear infections.
Indications:

• Acute Otitis Externa: Treatment of outer ear infections.
• Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media: Treatment of persistent ear infections in patients with perforated eardrums.
• Otitis Media: Treatment of middle ear infections in patients with tympanostomy tubes.

1. Dosage: For adults, instill 10 drops into the affected ear once a day. For children aged 6 months to 13 years, instill 5 drops once a day. For children aged 13 years and older, instill 10 drops once a day.
2. Administration: Tilt your head so that the affected ear is facing up. Place the prescribed amount of the solution into the ear. Remain in this position for at least 5 minutes to ensure the solution is absorbed.
3. Consistency: Use the solution at the same time each day.
4. Adherence: Do not miss doses, as this can increase the risk of bacterial resistance.
