SAIZEN Liquid 12 mg (8 mg/ml) Solution for Injection contains Somatropin (rDNA origin) 12 mg per 1.5 ml of solution. Somatropin is a form of human growth hormone used to treat growth hormone deficiency in children and adults.
Indications:

• Growth hormone deficiency: Used to treat children with growth failure and adults with growth hormone deficiency.
• Turner syndrome: Helps increase height in girls with this genetic condition.
• Short bowel syndrome: Improves growth in children with this condition.

• Dosage: The dosage varies based on individual needs and is typically determined by a healthcare provider. For children, it's usually 0.18 to 0.24 mg/kg/week, and for adults, it's 0.04 to 0.07 mg/kg/day.
• Administration: Inject subcutaneously (under the skin), usually once daily. Rotate injection sites to prevent reactions.
• Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have any allergies, infections, or other health conditions. Avoid using other growth hormone medications concurrently.
