Each 15 mL vial contains:
Irinotecan Hydrochloride Trihydrate: 300 mg
Indications:
Advanced Colorectal Cancer: Used as a single agent in patients who have failed an established 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) containing treatment regimen. It is also used in combination with 5-FU and folinic acid for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer.
Instructions:
Dosage:
-Monotherapy: 125 mg/m² IV infusion over 90 minutes on days 1, 8, 15, and 22, followed by a 2-week rest period.
-Combination Therapy: 180 mg/m² IV infusion over 30-90 minutes on days 1, 15, and 29, followed by infusion with leucovorin and 5-fluorouracil.
Administration: Dilute in 5% dextrose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection to a final concentration of 0.12-2.8 mg/mL. Administer as an intravenous infusion over 30-90 minutes.
