Loratadine
Indication
Clarityne (loratadine) is an antihistamine that reduces the effect of the natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.
Instruction
Take Clarityne exactly as directed on the label, or as your doctor has prescribed. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Clarityne is usually taken once per day. Follow your doctor's instructions.
Do not crush, chew, or break the regular Clarityne tablet. Swallow the pill whole.
If you missed a dose - take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.
Drug interaction
Clarityne interact with such medication as Tagamet and Nizoral. Also note that interaction between two medications does not always mean that you must stop taking one of them. As usual it affects the effect of drugs, so consult with your doctor about how it interactions are being managed or should be managed.
