Fenofibrate (nanoparticles)
Indication
Hypercholesterolaemia & hypertriglyceridaemia alone or combined (type IIa, IIb, III, IV & V dyslipidaemias) in patients unresponsive to dietary & other nondrug therapeutic measures especially when there is evidence of associated risk factors. Treatment of secondary hyperlipoproteinaemia if hyperlipoproteinaemia persists despite effective treatment of the underlying disease (eg, dyslipidaemia in DM).
Instruction
May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole.
Drug interaction
Oral anticoagulants, cyclosporin, HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors & other fibrates.
