Instruction
Should be taken with food. Initially 500 mg tds or 750 mg bd. Max: 3 g daily.
Drug interaction
Increased hypoglycaemic effect w/ sulphonylureas. Adjust dosage of anticoagulants if used concomitantly. Increased risk of lactic acidosis w/ cimetidine.
