• Active Ingredient: Enoxaparin sodium 40 mg (4,000 IU) per 0.4 mL
Indications:
Enoxaparin Sandoz is indicated for:
• Prophylaxis of venous thromboembolic disease: Used in moderate and high-risk surgical patients, particularly those undergoing orthopedic or general surgery, including cancer surgery.
• Prophylaxis in medical patients: For patients with acute illnesses (e.g., heart failure, respiratory insufficiency, severe infections) and reduced mobility.
• Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
• Prevention of thrombus formation: During hemodialysis.
• Acute coronary syndrome: Treatment of unstable angina and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), in combination with oral acetylsalicylic acid.
Instructions:
1. Preparation: Ensure the pre-filled syringe is at room temperature before use.
2. Administration: Inject subcutaneously (under the skin) once daily. Rotate injection sites to avoid bruising.
3. Dosage: The recommended dose is 4,000 IU (40 mg) once daily. Follow your healthcare provider's instructions for dosage adjustments based on your specific condition.
4. Monitoring: Regular monitoring by your healthcare provider is necessary to ensure safety and efficacy.
5. Storage: Store in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze.
