FLUTIMATE 50 contains the following active ingredient:
- Fluticasone Propionate: 50 mcg per dose
Indications:
FLUTIMATE 50 is used for the prevention of asthma symptoms and to manage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps reduce inflammation in the airways, leading to fewer symptoms and exacerbations.
Instructions:
- Shake Well: Shake the inhaler well before each use.
- Prime if Necessary: If it's the first time using the inhaler or if it hasn't been used for a while, spray a few test sprays into the air.
- Breathe Out: Exhale completely, away from the inhaler.
- Inhale Slowly: Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, form a tight seal with your lips, and inhale slowly while pressing down on the canister.
- Hold Breath: Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, or as long as comfortable.
- Exhale Gently: Remove the inhaler from your mouth and exhale gently.
- Repeat if Necessary: If a second dose is prescribed, repeat the steps above.
- Rinse Mouth: Rinse your mouth with water after using the inhaler to prevent irritation and infection.
