- Active Ingredient: Micafungin sodium

Indications:
Mycamine is used to treat and prevent infections caused by fungi, particularly Candida species2. It is indicated for:
- Candidemia (bloodstream infection)
- Acute disseminated candidiasis
- Candida peritonitis and abscesses
- Esophageal candidiasis
- Prophylaxis of Candida infections in patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Instructions:
- Reconstitution: Mycamine must be diluted with either sodium chloride 0.9% or glucose 5% solution before use.
- Administration: Administer by intravenous infusion over 1 hour. Do not shake the medication bottle2.
- Storage: Protect from light and use within 24 hours after mixing.
- Monitoring: Regularly monitor liver and kidney function during treatment.
