Mounjaro 15 mg Solution for Injection in Vial contains 15 mg of tirzepatide in 0.5 mL. Tirzepatide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Indications:

• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Treatment of adults with insufficiently controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise. It can be used as monotherapy when metformin is not tolerated or contraindicated.

1. Administration: Administered as a subcutaneous injection in the thigh or abdomen.
2. Dosage: The recommended starting dose is 2.5 mg once weekly. The dose may be increased to 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, or 15 mg once weekly based on the patient's response and tolerability.
3. Timing: Take it at the same time each week to help you remember.
4. Monitoring: Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels and other relevant parameters is essential.
