Indication:
BESREMi is indicated for the treatment of adults with polycythemia vera (PV), a condition characterized by an abnormal increase in red blood cells.
Instructions:
- Preparation:
- Gather supplies and check the prefilled syringe.
- Do not shake the syringe.
- Administration:
- Inject subcutaneously (under the skin) in the lower abdomen, at least 2 inches away from the belly button.
- Rotate the injection site for each dose.
- The recommended starting dose is 100 micrograms every two weeks, which can be increased gradually up to 500 micrograms.
- Monitoring:
- Regular blood tests are required to monitor hematological parameters.
- Watch for signs of depression, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular issues
