Vallformosa is a family-owned winery, now managed by the fifth generation of the Domènech family. It was established in 1865 in Penedès, the famed wine region of Spain. It is a privileged land with unique characteristics for viniculture and from the very beginning, the Domènech family has been passionate about the teachings of their ancestors that the “soul of the wine is in the soil and in their family roots.”
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Bright salmon–pink with a glimmering clarity that looks fresh and inviting.
Aroma: Bursts of red berries—strawberries, raspberries, even cherry—accented by light floral notes and a touch of spice. Crisp, fruity fragrance that feels both lively and expressive.
Palate: On the palate it's medium-bodied with juicy, fleshy red fruit. A silky texture carries sweetness tempered by zesty acidity. You'll get a pleasant red fruited aftertaste and a gently spicy finish.
