Latest News: Successful Completion of the Belly Tanks Project
We proudly announce the successful fabrication and testing of three Belly Tanks for diesel fuel storage, each with a capacity of 2600 liters. This project was completed with the highest quality and safety standards, ensuring the tanks are fully compliant with industry regulations and ready for their intended use.
The Belly Tanks, designed to store diesel fuel securely, underwent rigorous testing to ensure their integrity and reliability. We conducted a thorough leak testing procedure in adherence to the UL142 standards, which is essential for ensuring the safety and durability of fuel storage systems.
The leak test process included several key procedures to validate the tanks' performance under various conditions:
Hydrostatic Test: The tanks were filled with water to check for any signs of leakage in the seams or welds. This critical test helps ensure the tank's structural integrity and confirms that no leaks are present under standard operational pressure.
Pressure and Vacuum Test: In line with UL142 requirements, the tanks were subjected to pressure and vacuum tests to simulate the operational environment. This test ensures the tank can handle pressure fluctuations and vacuum conditions without failure, ensuring safe and efficient fuel storage over time.
At ISTIQ, we take pride in our commitment to quality and safety. Our team has worked diligently to fabricate these Belly Tanks, ensuring that every step of the manufacturing process, from design to testing, meets the highest standards. We are confident that these tanks will provide our clients with reliable and safe diesel fuel storage, contributing to their operational success.
