Next Month: 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Facelift Launching in Malaysia—Will It Have EPB?

Checks with various local dealers indicate that the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross facelift is expected to launch in Malaysia as soon as next month, as current variants of this popular SUV are selling quickly.

In fact, some dealers in the central region have confirmed that their stock of the current Corolla Cross Hybrid has completely sold out, while dealers in the northern region report that they still have some units available, although their inventory is rapidly decreasing.

To clarify, the currently available Corolla Cross offers three pure-petrol variants in addition to one hybrid model. Here are the prices for the range as of now:

- Corolla Cross 1.8V: RM 137,900
- Corolla Cross Hybrid: RM 143,000
- Corolla Cross GR Sport: RM 147,000

There are also October promotions available for these models, offering discounts of up to RM 8,000, depending on the terms.

It's still too early to say for sure what features the Malaysian-spec Corolla Cross facelift will include, but the version sold in Thailand provides a good indication of what to expect.

The standout feature of the updated model is the addition of a standard electric parking brake (EPB). Higher variants will also come with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, while the lower variants will have a 7-inch TFT display.

The facelifted model also features a refreshed design and updates to the Toyota Safety Sense suite of advanced safety features. Notably, the prices for the new Corolla Cross in Thailand range from THB 999,000 to THB 1.254 million (approximately RM 133,000 to RM 167,000), which is consistent with the pricing of the pre-facelift model.
