There was an analysis carried out in Chengdu IFS Finance Centre to analyses the energy-saving benefits of using 1098 glass coating. Based on 2022 meteorological data and building models, it shows that with the coating, the building could save up to 64,938 kWh of electricity annually, translating to potential savings of 64,938 yuan in electricity costs. Additionally, it could reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 64,743 kg annually, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 4.5 trees per square meter of coated glass per year.
