**Only JTK Licensed Agency able to do airport clearance.**
When foreign workers enter Malaysia, they need to go through a series of airport clearance procedures, including:
-
Arrival and Disembarkation:
- Upon landing, foreign workers disembark the aircraft and proceed to the terminal.
-
Immigration Clearance:
- Document Check: Workers present their passport, visa (if applicable), and any other required entry documents (such as the Foreign Worker Card or the Temporary Employment Visit Pass).
- Biometric Data: Fingerprints and photographs may be taken as part of the security procedure.
- Interview: An immigration officer may ask questions to verify the purpose of the visit and ensure compliance with visa regulations.
- Approval: If everything is in order, the passport is stamped, and the worker is allowed to enter Malaysia.
-
Health and Safety Checks:
- Health Declaration: Workers may be required to fill out a health declaration form, especially in the context of ongoing health concerns like COVID-19.
- Screening: Temperature checks and possible health screenings are conducted.
-
Customs Clearance:
- Baggage Claim: Workers collect their baggage from the designated carousel.
- Customs Declaration: Any goods that need to be declared must be reported. Workers go through the Green Lane (nothing to declare) or Red Lane (goods to declare).
-
Security Checks:
- Baggage Screening: All baggage may be subjected to x-ray screening and inspection.
- Personal Search: Security personnel may conduct a personal search if deemed necessary.
-
Final Clearance:
- Once all checks are completed, foreign workers exit the customs area and proceed to their onward transportation or pick-up points.
