Children's Day & Halloween Costume Party - 25th October 2024

A Star Kids Montessori Preschool was bursting with giggles, spooky vibes, and adorable costumes as students celebrated a Halloween-themed Children's Day party! Held on October 25 in both Damai Perdana Centre and Damai Circles Centre, the event was packed with fun surprises, creative costumes, and delicious treats, all crafted for the little stars to enjoy a magical day with their friends and teachers.

The centres were transformed into a Halloween wonderland, with cobwebs, pumpkins, and twinkling lights adding a playful, spooky twist to the preschool. Kids dressed as witches, wizards, animals, superheroes, and even little pumpkins, proudly showing off their creative costumes! Teachers joined the fun too, fully embracing the Halloween spirit in their costumes, making the children’s day even more memorable.

The event kicked off with a mini costume parade, where each student got to shine in front of their friends, showing off their outfits and striking their best “scary” poses! The fun continued with themed games like the “Witch’s Hat Ring Toss” and “Face the Cookies,” which had everyone laughing and cheering. 

A highlight of the day was the “Witch’s Potion” experiment, where the children became little wizards in a magical science activity. Each child received colorful “potions” of vinegar dyed in bright colors, which they carefully poured into pumpkin bowls filled with baking soda. With wide eyes, they watched as the mixtures fizzled and bubbled up like a real potion, producing colorful foam that added a splash of fun to their Halloween experience.

For a tasty treat, parents came together and prepared a potluck full of kid-friendly snacks and treats. From mini sandwiches shaped like ghosts to monster cupcakes and "mummy-wrapped" hot dogs, the delicious spread kept the kids’ energy high for more fun!

With treats, games, and memories to treasure, the children left the event grinning from ear to ear. A Star Kids Montessori Preschool sends a big thank you to the parents for the fantastic potluck dishes and to the teachers for crafting a day full of magic, laughter, and festive fun!
