Client’s Requirements:
The client has a clear vision for their new small apartment, seeking a minimalist design that combines both aesthetic appeal and practicality. They requests included a kitchen island, a whiskey display cabinet, and a color palette of black, white, and grey. The goal was to create a bright, clean, elegant, and functional space.
Current Condition:
The apartment is new, with air conditioning provided by the developer. Since the space is small, maximizing functionality within the limited area was essential.
Design Strategy and Solutions:
- Functional and Aesthetic Kitchen Island: To meet the client’s desire for a kitchen island, we designed a multifunctional island that serves as a baking, dining, and storage space. The white marble design looks countertop and matching cabinets align with the client’s color scheme while providing hidden storage.
- Whiskey Cabinet and Display Area Integration: The wine display cabinet is placed adjacent to the kitchen island, maintaining clean lines and a minimalist shape. The cabinet features a black frame with glass doors, which allows the client to showcase their collection while keeping the visual clutter at bay. LED lighting inside the cabinet enhances the display and adds a soft glow to the room at night.
- Curved Edge Finishing: For a refined touch, we incorporated curved edge finishing into the design, providing smooth transitions between walls and ceilings. This softens the overall look of the space, lending a sense of elegance. In a small apartment, such curves can help the space feel more cohesive and less cramped.
- Wooden Slats Design: The TV unit is enhanced with minimalist wooden slats, which add warmth and sophistication to the space.
- Bright and Refreshing Space: Maximizing natural light and creating an airy feel was a priority in this small apartment. We used predominantly white walls with accents of grey, while black elements were subtly introduced through furniture and lighting to add a modern edge without overwhelming the space.
- Balance of Colors and Materials: The black, white, and grey palette flows consistently throughout the design, with materials chosen to enhance the space. From matte cabinet finishes and marble countertops to the sleek glass wine cabinet and soft fabric sofas, the variation in textures brings depth to the minimalist design. - 威士忌展示柜与展示区整合：酒柜紧邻厨房岛台，保持干净的线条和极简的造型。酒柜采用黑色框架和玻璃门，使客户能够展示他们的收藏，同时避免视觉上的杂乱。柜内的LED灯光增强了展示效果，并为夜间房间增添了柔和的光辉。
- 曲线边缘处理：为了增添精致感，我们在设计中加入了曲线边缘处理，提供了墙壁和天花板之间的平滑过渡。这种设计柔化了空间的整体外观，增添了一种优雅感。在小型公寓中，这种曲线能够帮助空间显得更加连贯而不那么狭窄。
- 木条设计：电视柜采用极简的木条设计，增添了空间的温暖感和精致感。
- 明亮清新的空间：最大化自然光线并营造通透感是这间小公寓的优先考虑事项。我们采用了主要以白色为基调的墙面，并通过灰色点缀，同时通过家具和灯具巧妙地引入黑色元素，赋予空间现代感而不至于使其显得压迫。
