很荣幸能成为“暨南大学建校118周年马来西亚专场”活动的策划者。
本次盛会将于2024年11月17日，在雪兰莪万达酒店（One World Hotel）隆重举行。本次活动旨在凝聚全球暨南大学校友，共同见证暨南大学118年的辉煌历程与卓越成就，同时展现马中两国在教育领域长期以来的深厚合作与友谊。
暨南大学马来西亚校友会会长吴奕升在文告中表示，暨南大学始终是马中两地教育合作的重要桥梁，数十年来培养了逾千名才华横溢的马来西亚校友，为两国人民的相互理解与友好交流作出了巨大贡献。
“适逢马中建交50周年，此次活动意义非凡。以‘扬帆启航暨四海，美美与共耀五洲’为主题，本次盛会不仅是暨南大学对全球校友的热忱邀约，更是马中教育与文化交流的重要里程碑。”
活动将包括上午的开幕仪式及学术研讨会，下午则安排多场不同主题的会议与论坛，最后的重头戏是晚间的庆祝晚宴，为校友们提供深入交流与联谊的平台。
中国驻马来西亚大使欧阳玉靖表示，暨南大学为世界培养了无数英才，其中许多校友扎根马来西亚，为社会发展作出重要贡献，同时成为中马友好交流的使者。暨南大学与马来西亚的深厚情谊，正是两国友好关系的缩影与见证。
“未来，我们将更加注重人才交流，深入推动教育合作，鼓励两国学子共同学习、携手进步，让中马友谊在年轻一代的手中薪火相传，生生不息。”
We're honored to be the event planner for the "Jinan University 118th Anniversary Malaysia Special." This grand event will take place on November 17, 2024, at One World Hotel, Selangor.
The event aims to unite Jinan University alumni worldwide, celebrating the university’s 118 years of excellence and achievements while showcasing the long-standing educational cooperation and friendship between Malaysia and China.
Wu Yisheng, President of the Jinan University Malaysia Alumni Association, stated in a press release that Jinan University has always served as a crucial bridge for educational collaboration between Malaysia and China. Over the decades, it has nurtured thousands of talented Malaysian alumni who have made significant contributions to fostering deeper people-to-people connections between the two nations.
"Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations, this event carries extraordinary significance. With the theme 'Sailing Across the Four Seas, Shining Together Across Five Continents,' this grand occasion is not only a heartfelt invitation to Jinan University alumni worldwide but also a milestone in educational and cultural exchanges between Malaysia and China.”
The event will feature a morning opening ceremony and academic symposium, followed by multiple thematic conferences and forums in the afternoon. The highlight of the event will be the 118th Anniversary Celebration Gala Dinner in the evening, providing a platform for alumni to network and reconnect.
Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yujing, expressed that Jinan University has cultivated countless outstanding talents worldwide. Many of its alumni have established themselves in Malaysia, making significant contributions to society and serving as friendly ambassadors for Malaysia-China relations. He emphasized that the deep bond between Jinan University and Malaysia is a testament to the strong and enduring friendship between the two nations.
