TAGORE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY IN STYLE

On Thursday 20th February 2025, Tagore Business Association (TBA) marked a significant milestone with its 10th Anniversary Dinner, attended by around 200 esteemed guests.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr Henry Kwek, Member of Parliament & Grassroots Adviser for Kebun Baru, who was the Guest of Honour. Accompanying him on the VIP list were ex-MP’s Ms Lee Bee Wah, Mr Inderjit Singh and Mr Chan Soo Sen.

In his keynote address, Mr Kwek congratulated TBA on its decade-long journey, highlighting the association's tireless efforts in fostering a vibrant business community in the Tagore area. He also took the opportunity to share insights on the recently announced Budget 2025, emphasizing the government's commitment to supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Mr Kwek encouraged TBA members to leverage the various initiatives announced in Budget 2025, designed to help SMEs drive growth, innovation, and productivity. He also highlighted the importance of embracing digitalization, urging businesses to tap into the trade directory services available on the TBA website (www.tagore.sg). This platform, he noted, can facilitate meaningful business connections and collaborations.

The MP also expressed his enthusiasm for TBA's vision to establish Tagore as an IT robotic hub. He acknowledged the potential for this initiative to create new opportunities for businesses, entrepreneurs, and residents in the area.

TBA's Chairman, Mr Philip Seah, thanked Mr Kwek for his thoughtful address and praised the association's members for their dedication and perseverance. He also outlined TBA's plans for the future, including initiatives to enhance business networking with ITE / Polytechnic’s, skills development, and community engagement.

The evening's festivities included a sumptuous dinner, entertaining performances, and long service awards.. The event was a resounding success, with guests praising the warm hospitality and camaraderie that defined the evening.

As TBA embarks on its next chapter, it is clear that the association remains committed to fostering a thriving business ecosystem in Tagore. With the support of stakeholders like Mr Kwek and the dedication of its members, TBA is poised to achieve even greater heights in the years to come.
