At Medihope Clinic, we strive to provide the best possible care to all our patients. To ensure smooth operations and fairness, we have established the following policy for late arrivals and missed appointments. 1. Appointment Arrival Time
Patients are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to allow for registration and preparation.
If running late, we kindly request patients to inform the clinic promptly by calling or messaging our team.
2. Appointment Timing
Being on time does not guarantee immediate consultation. The doctor may require additional time for a previous patient due to case complexity or unexpected complications. We appreciate your patience and understanding in such situations.
3. Late Arrival Policy
Arrivals within 15 minutes of the appointment time:
The clinic will do its best to accommodate late arrivals. However, patients may experience delays based on the clinic’s schedule.
Arrivals after 15 minutes of the appointment time:
The appointment may need to be rescheduled to the next available slot, and a rescheduling fee of RM 20 may apply.
Alternatively, we will proceed to attend to the next patient and call the late patient once their turn becomes available. If rescheduling is preferred, patients should inform the clinic.
4. Missed Appointments
A missed appointment occurs if a patient does not attend their scheduled slot without notifying the clinic in advance. For missed appointments:
Standard consultation fees may still apply.
Repeated missed appointments will result in the requirement of a deposit to secure future bookings.
5. Rescheduling and Cancellations
We understand that plans may change. Patients can reschedule or cancel their appointments without penalty if they notify the clinic at least 24 hours in advance.
Rescheduling or cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment may incur a late cancellation fee of RM 20.
6. Emergency Situations
We understand that emergencies can arise. If you are unable to attend or anticipate being late due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us, and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
7. Policy Enforcement To maintain efficiency and respect for all patients’ time, this policy will be strictly enforced. We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring that our clinic can continue to provide timely and high-quality care for everyone.
