Nasi Lemak Tech: The First Keeogo Robotic Training Center in ASEAN official launches in Malaysia

B-Temia Asia, powered by Wistron Medical Technology Corporation and in partnership with Rehabotics Medtech, has officially launched ASEAN’s first Keeogo Robotic Training Center (RTC) in Malaysia.

Today’s technology actively contributes to increased survival rates from neurological disorders. With a goal to make rehabilitative technology more accessible to stroke and neurologically injured patients, the trio has teamed up to build RTCs across Malaysia, with the first one located at PJ Midtown Petaling Jaya.

Let’s check out the robotic rehabilitation technology and medical devices they have to offer.

Starting with the wearable hand exoskeleton Mirror Hand, it is designed to cure patients suffering from neuromuscular disorders and diseases that could potentially lead to permanent loss of hand functions.

This will eventually train users to interact with real objects by combining passive continuous motion (CPM) with bilateral training techniques.

On the other hand, these lightweight and flexible smart motorized orthoses are capable of delivering task-oriented and intensive training. Patients with impaired lower limb mobility are able to rehabilitate with them to regain the ability to move and walk even after undergoing life-altering complications.

To conclude, the companies aim to establish more centers and affiliated branches across Malaysia in the near future to assist more patients locally. Kindly refer to the following link for more information on the Keeogo RTCs.
