Myvi Breaks Boundaries: Owner Travels to Snowy Regions of China

The Perodua Myvi has once again proven its reliability as a Malaysian owner successfully drove it all the way to China. Muhammad Fuad Ashaari shared his journey in the “Myvi 3rd Generations Club Malaysia” Facebook group, posting photos of his Myvi in Deqin, China. Deqin is a remote town near Tibet, located about 4,500km from Kuala Lumpur. Known for its tough terrain and freezing weather, the journey was no easy feat.

One of his photos showed the Myvi covered in a thin layer of snow, while another captured the car parked in front of a "Welcome to Deqin" sign, marking the success of this incredible trip. "Taking my Myvi to cold regions for travel… This car conquered China’s roads without any problems," he wrote.

Many Malaysians were amazed by the Myvi’s journey to China. Some asked if any modifications were made to handle the cold weather, while others praised him for taking a Malaysian car so far. Some were curious about travel arrangements, while others joked about the experience.

Since its launch in 2005, the Perodua Myvi has grown from a simple compact car into a cultural icon in Malaysia. Known for its affordability, quality, and reliability, it has become a favorite among Malaysians. Beyond just being a popular car, the Myvi’s legendary durability has made it an internet sensation. Over the years, viral photos and videos have shown it surviving deep floods, bizarre accidents, and tough conditions—often with little to no damage.

These unbelievable stories have led to the Myvi earning the "King of Malaysian Roads" title, symbolizing not just a car but Malaysian resilience and pride.
