Jetour Dashing C-SUV Launching in Malaysia on April 2025!
Almost a year after its first public appearance in Malaysia, the Jetour Dashing is finally set to launch on April 2025. This was confirmed by Jetour Auto Malaysia on its official Facebook page. For those who don’t know, Jetour is a car brand under Chery Holding Group, but it operates separately from Chery’s other brands in Malaysia. The Jetour Dashing is a C-segment SUV with a sporty coupe-like design. It is 4,590mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,685mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,720mm, making it similar in size to other SUVs in this category. Inside, the Dashing comes as a five-seater SUV, packed with modern features. It has leather seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 40W wireless charging pad, and two 10.25-inch screens—one for the driver’s digital display and another for the infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For Malaysia’s right-hand drive market, the Dashing will come with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine, producing 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that powers the front wheels (FWD). As previously mentioned, the Jetour Dashing will be locally assembled (CKD) in Malaysia as part of Jetour Malaysia’s expansion plan for 2025. The brand plans to open 20 outlets nationwide, including at least 10 3S and 4S centres within the first quarter of the year. While the price has not been revealed yet, more details will be shared closer to the launch.
