Fire System

Fire System

A fire system, also known as a fire protection system, is a network of components and devices that work together to detect and extinguish fires or limit their spread in a building or facility. Fire systems can include components such as smoke detectors, fire alarms, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and fire suppression systems. The system is designed to quickly detect and respond to a fire, alerting occupants of the building and automatically activating fire suppression systems to control or extinguish the fire. Fire systems must be designed and installed in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations, and must be regularly maintained and tested to ensure that they are functioning properly. In some commercial and industrial settings, fire systems may be required to be interconnected with other building systems, such as HVAC systems or elevators, to ensure a coordinated response in case of a fire.
