Started learning the piano at the age of 7, acquired ABRSM Grade 8 performing and theory certificate in her teenage years, and obtained Trinity ATCL Piano Diploma Certificate in 2018.
Graduated from UCSI University Bachelor (Hons) in Classical Music, majoring in Classical Piano, coached by Ms Jaz Tan Siew Pei who was formerly Assistant Professor of UCSI University.
Achievements and Experience:
Gold prize winner in the first round selection of the Ars Nova Festival 2019.
Participated actively in various kinds of performances such as Piano Solo, Two Pianos, Trios and Vocal accompaniment.
Selected to attend Classical Piano Workshop in UCSI in 2021, coached by Mr Ng Chong Lim.
Selected as one of the outstanding Two Pianos performers to perform in UCSI Chamber Recital 2022.
Attended Vocal Masterclass as a piano accompanist and able to be coached by Dr Seyoung Jeong in June 2023.
Teaching Style:
She aims to cultivate students' interest in music, making exploration joyful and fostering a deep appreciation for its beauty.
She adapts Kodaly and Muso methods to keep learning lively, ensuring a strong musical base without boredom.
By encouraging exploration of different music styles, she helps students think critically and become independent learners in music.
