Workforce Recalibration 2.0


The Worker Recalibration Program is a special program to regularize undocumented immigrants (PATI) in Malaysia as legal foreign workers employed by eligible employers, subject to strict conditions decided by the Government through the Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (JIM) and the Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN).
 

Open to foreign labour as follows:

I. Only from 15 source countries for other sectors (Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, India, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan);

II. Only from 9 source countries for Foreign Domestic Helpers (FDH) (Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, Laos, Vietnam, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, and Indonesia);

III. Registration for FDH through the RTK 2.0 Portal will be announced later;

IV. Undocumented immigrants who committed offenses on or before December 31, 2022 under:

V. Section 6(1)(c), which is entering and staying in this country without a valid pass under the Immigration Act 1959/63;

VI. Section 15(1)(c), which is overstaying under the Immigration Act 1959/63;

VII. Regulation 39(b), which is violating pass conditions under the Immigration Regulations 1963.
