MALAYSIA ROAD SAFETY PLAN 2022-2030

Road accidents are one of the leading causes of death in the country. The Malaysia Road Safety Plan 2014-2020 (PKJRM 2014-2020), implemented by the government, successfully reduced road accidents by 4.8% annually. To continue this progress, the Malaysia Road Safety Plan 2022-2030 (PKJRM 2022-2030) has been developed, aiming to reduce road accident fatalities by 50% by the end of 2030. This target aligns with UN resolution 74/299, which declared 2021-2030 as The Second Global Decade of Action for Road Safety.
