Honda Malaysia has officially launched the 2025 Honda Civic facelift, now available in four variants: E, V, RS, and e:HEV RS.

The facelifted Honda Civic brings a refreshed exterior design, with a more aggressive front bumper featuring sharper edges. The fog lights from the previous model have been removed in this version.

Additionally, a new color called Canyon River Blue Metallic is now available, joining the existing options of Platinum White Pearl, Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Crystal Black Pearl.

The standard exterior features of the Honda Civic facelift include LED headlights and taillights, automatic headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRL), auto-retractable side mirrors with body-colored side indicators, body-colored door handles, a body-colored shark fin antenna, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The V variant upgrades with half-chrome door handles and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The RS variant enhances the exterior with auto-retractable side mirrors finished in black, black outer door handles, a trunk spoiler, a black shark fin antenna, chrome-finished tailpipe, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The e:HEV RS variant takes it a step further with door handles finished in black half-chrome.

The 2025 facelift Honda Civic comes with a 9-inch Google-based infotainment system, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, standard across all variants. Inside, it offers remote engine start, an ECON button, a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, single-zone automatic climate control, and rear air-con vents. The cabin features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, fabric upholstery, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, automatic front wipers, audio controls on the steering wheel, and a center console with an armrest. Additional features include front roof ambient lighting, two rear USB-C charging ports, and a four-speaker sound system.

The V variant offers several upgrades, including paddle shifters for a sportier driving experience, along with drive mode selectors (ECON, Normal, and Sport) to choose your preferred driving style. It also features an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, which adjusts to reduce glare from headlights behind you, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel for a more premium feel. The V variant also gets leather upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat for added comfort and convenience, and an eight-speaker sound system for improved audio quality.

The RS variant takes it further with half-leather upholstery for a more upscale interior look, sport pedals that add to the car’s performance vibe, and front footwell and door ambient lighting to enhance the cabin’s atmosphere. It also includes a wireless phone charger for easy charging without the hassle of cables.

The e:HEV RS variant introduces even more premium features, including a key card for keyless access, a deceleration selector paddle to control the car's regenerative braking, and a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster that offers a more modern and customizable display. It also comes with two-zone automatic climate control, allowing separate temperature settings for the driver and passenger for a more personalized comfort experience.

The 2025 facelift Honda Civic is powered by the same 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the previous model, delivering 182 hp and 240 Nm of torque. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. This engine is available in the E, V, and RS variants.

The Honda Civic e:HEV RS, on the other hand, features a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine combined with two electric motors, producing a total output of 184 hp and 315 Nm. This powertrain is paired with an e-CVT transmission.

The 2025 facelift Honda Civic comes equipped with Honda Sensing, a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These include features such as Low Speed Follow (LSF), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Auto High Beam (AHB) for enhanced safety on the road.
